1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website www.socks.com.lb (the “Site”) and all related services provided by SOCKS (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

  • “User,” “you,” “your”: any person accessing or using the Site
  • “Products”: clothing, accessories, and related goods sold on the Site
  • “Order”: a purchase submitted through the Site

3. Pricing and Payment Terms

  • All prices include VAT where applicable.
  • Shipping fees may apply and are shown at checkout.
  • Accepted payment methods:
    • Cash on Delivery (within Lebanon)
    • Visa & Mastercard
  • Payment must be completed prior to order processing (except for Cash on Delivery, where applicable).
  • We may update prices at any time without prior notice.

4. Client Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete delivery and contact information;
  • Ensure a recipient is available at the provided delivery address;
  • Use the Site lawfully and in accordance with these Terms;
  • Avoid fraudulent, abusive, or harmful conduct on the Site;
  • Review product descriptions, sizes, and details before completing a purchase.

Incorrect or incomplete information may result in failed deliveries, delays, or additional charges.

5. Use of Images and Videos

  • SOCKS does not capture, use, store, or publish customer photos or videos for marketing or any other purpose.
  • All product photos, promotional visuals, and designs displayed on the Site are owned or licensed by SOCKS and may not be reused without prior written permission.
  • Any customer-submitted content (such as social media tags, photos, or messages) will not be used publicly without explicit written consent from the customer.

6. Return & Refund Policy

  • Returns are accepted within 10 days of receiving the order.
  • Returned items must be:
    • In their original packaging;
    • Unworn, unwashed, and unused;
    • In the same condition as delivered.
  • Return fees or shipping charges may apply.
  • Refunds are processed within 10 business days after the returned items are received and inspected.
  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
  • Exchanges may be offered for size or colour differences, subject to availability and prior approval.
  • Items returned without prior approval or that do not meet the stated conditions may be rejected.

7. Third-Party Vendors and Subcontractors

We may work with third-party vendors and subcontractors, including but not limited to:

  • Delivery and logistics partners;
  • Payment processors and financial institutions;
  • Hosting, e-commerce, and technology providers (such as Shopify).

These third parties are only provided with the information necessary to perform their services and are expected to protect your data in accordance with applicable laws and contractual obligations.

8. Force Majeure

SOCKS is not liable for any delay or failure to perform obligations under these Terms if such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters;
  • Political disruptions or civil unrest;
  • Transportation shutdowns or disruptions;
  • Power failures, internet outages, or technical disruptions;
  • Government actions, regulations, or restrictions.

In such cases, we will take reasonable steps to inform users and resume operations as soon as practical.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Lebanese law:

  • SOCKS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of Products.
  • SOCKS is not responsible for:
    • Delivery delays or failures caused by courier services or external factors;
    • Issues arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the User;
    • Unauthorized access to or use of your account due to your actions or negligence.
  • In all cases, the maximum aggregate liability of SOCKS for any claim related to a Product purchase shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that Product.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SOCKS from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use or misuse of the Site;
  • Your breach of these Terms;
  • Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

11. Confidentiality

Any non-public information shared between you and SOCKS, including business, operational, or account information, shall be treated as confidential and shall not be disclosed to third parties without prior written consent, except where required by law.

12. Privacy and Data Protection

Our handling of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. By using the Site, you acknowledge and agree to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Lebanon. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Beirut, Lebanon.

SOCKS may amend or update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
